Old sweatshirts and jackets

The other day I gave away about 15 old sweatshirts and jackets. Some of them I got at Goodwill in the first place and just don't wear them. It also includes all my old cross country and track hoodies, 3 or 4 of them. Those were hard to get rid of, because I used to love them and they remind me of my team and the good times I had. Key words here: "used to." I haven't worn them in many years and I don't even like pullover hoodies anymore, I prefer full zip hoodies. I will still remember my team and the good times I had even without the hoodies.

That being said, I still could not bring myself to part with my varsity jacket. Ah well, I'm allowed to keep a few things for nostalgia, right?

I also finally put away all the 18 month and 2T jackets and coats that were still in the closet that none of my kids fit into right now. I didn't get rid of them yet since Robert can wear them next year but at least they're put away with the other 2T stuff now.

I showed Chris a few things that I've never seen him wear, and he was like "Those aren't mine." Lol, that was easy! They must have been left here by former roommates. (How did we keep his roommates' coats and jackets all these years?? They all moved out like 8.5 years ago!!)

There is now room in the closet to comfortably hang up our coats each day so we don't have to hang coats on the dining room chairs anymore! There's even extra hangers and room for guests' coats! Yay! :-D
